RON RICHARD. as admitted to the Bar in 1996, and in that same year, served as a judicial clerk in the Fourteenth Judicial District Court. Ron went into private practice in 1997 as a founding partner of Richard Law Firm, LLC. He has been involved in hundreds of mediations, including business disputes, personal injury matters and class action litigation. Additional matters, such as sexual harassment matters, employment matters and school-related litigation have made up a significant part of his practice. Ron is past chair of the Community Action Committee of the Louisiana Bar Association, as well as a three-time recipient of the Fidelity Club Award with his company, Landmark Title Company. He serves as a Trustee for the Lake Charles Charter School Foundation and is on the Advisory Council for Jeff Davis Bank. He serves on the boards of the Local Heart Foundation, the SWLA Home Builders Association, Community Advisory Council for CHRISTUS Ochsner SWLA Foundation, McNeese Quarterback Club and Girly Girls Mentoring, Inc. Ron has been a primary sponsor of the MLK Coalition for over 17 years, for which he was recognized as the first-time recipient of the MLK Coalition Lifetime Achievement Award in 2020.
