ROBERT BAUDOUIN has been a mediator and litigator for over 35 years. His mediations have primarily involved medical malpractice disputes including physician and hospital negligence, premises liability, motor vehicle accidents, boundary disputes, and various other personal injury and property damage disputes. His litigation practice has been extremely diverse with a focus on healthcare law including physician and hospital negligence, physician contracts, class action and multi-district litigation, commercial litigation, and complex construction litigation involving the professional liability of engineers and architects as well as workmanship claims against contractors and subcontractors. He has represented both defendants and plaintiffs throughout his career. He has served as the attorney chair in medical review panels and served as Chair of the Medical Malpractice Section of the Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel for several years. He has lectured at continuing education seminars on issues regarding medical malpractice. He is admitted to practice in all Louisiana state and federal courts. He served as law clerk to Chief Justice John A. Dixon of the Louisiana Supreme Court and was a contributing writer to the Louisiana Political Review.
