Joe Hassinger has litigated, tried, mediated and arbitrated cases in state and federal courts throughout Louisiana for twenty-nine years. Several years ago, Joe joined the maps mediation and arbitration panels to complement his litigation practice, and since then has mediated and arbitrated numerous cases across a broad range of practice areas. In 2019, Joe acquired the maps mediation and arbitration firm, and serves as its managing director. Joe is a frequent lecturer on alternative dispute resolution to law firms, and to local and national Bar and industry organizations. Joe has presented on mediation, negotiation and leadership as an Instructor in the maps basic and advanced training programs, the CLM Claims College, Loyola Law School, Tulane Law School and private and public organizations.
