Randy Russell has been a Mediator 12+ years and recently rejoined the maps Mediation Panel. He is the owner/manager of his law firm located in Mandeville, LA, which he founded in 2004 and has since maintained an active practice. Randy has extensive litigation/trial experience, having successfully litigated and tried matters in Louisiana over the past twenty-five (25) years, representing both Plaintiffs and Defendants, primarily in cases involving significant personal injury; wrongful death; workers’ compensation; medical malpractice; successions; and insurance claims, among other areas of practice. He has served as Plaintiff counsel throughout his career and has experience defending major insurance companies in Louisiana casualty claims, having previously served as insurance defense counsel for several years and as a law clerk for an insurance defense firm while attending Loyola Law School in New Orleans. Prior to and during his undergraduate studies, Randy served as a helicopter mechanic in the Louisiana Army National Guard and worked in many industrial settings as a Pipefitter Apprentice/Heliarc Welder and an Electrician’s Apprentice. Practical insight gained through his diverse experience and practice has proven to be incredibly useful and valuable throughout his many years as an attorney and mediator.
