Judge Schott graduated from Loyola University School of Law. Completed courses at the National Judicial College in Mediation and in the Management of Complex Cases. Assistant City Attorney for the City of New Orleans and attorney for the New Orleans Aviation Board. Elected Judge of the Court of Appeal, 4th Circuit, State of Louisiana, 1972, after sixteen years in the practice of law and was Chief Judge of the Court, 1988-1998. Served in the JAG Corps of the United States Army, 1953-1956, attained the rank of Captain.
