JUDGE JOHN LEBLANC is a retired State District Judge from the 17th JDC, with more than 24 years of experience in all types of civil and criminal matters, from small claims to multi-million-dollar litigation involving complex legal issues.  He served as the court’s Chief Judge for over twelve years. Prior to taking the bench, he enjoyed the general practice of law with his father, as well as serving as an assistant indigent defender.  Judge LeBlanc is a resident of Thibodaux, LA, and has been married for 35 years.
