Michele Crosby Over the course of her distinguished career, Michele accepted principal trial responsibility and defended clients in a full spectrum of litigation matters before judges and juries in state court, judges in federal court, before the US District Courts’ Panel for Multi-District Litigation (MDL) and before the Louisiana Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals. These cases have included a wide variety of commercial and casualty litigation defense and regulatory issues, including contract disputes, utility rate cases, landlord/tenant disputes, insurance coverage disputes, traditional insurance matters, products liability, personal injury, property damage, cargo loss/damage, medical malpractice, workers’ compensation, asbestos/chemical exposure, and wrongful denial of ERISA benefits cases. She also has experience with physician employment/services contracts, the Airline Deregulation Act of 1978 and the Warsaw and Montreal Conventions, Federal Aviation Administration regulations, and regulatory compliance issues (including HIPAA and Medicare).
Michele regularly represents hospitals, national airlines, aircraft component manufacturers, national and local household goods and freight carriers, manufacturers, power equipment manufacturers, plant and building owners, pipeline companies, energy companies, insurance companies, physicians, and corporate employers.
