William H. Justice has over 30 years of litigation experience including numerous bench and jury trials.  He received his BA from Georgetown University in 1982 (during which time he served as an intern for U.S. Senator Russell B. Long), and his JD degree in 1985 from the Paul M. Hebert Law School. Since that time, Bill has practiced almost exclusively in the area of property and casualty litigation including 14 years as senior litigation attorney for State Farm staff counsel (Terry J. Butcher & Assoc.).  Additionally, he has managed other lawyers (in staff counsel settings for a number of carriers including the Progressive Group of Insurance Companies). He is admitted to practice before the Eastern, Middle and Western Districts of Louisiana.  He has been a lecturer in various areas including discovery, bad faith litigation, and legislative updates. He has also served as a volunteer mentor and judge for various Southern University Law School advocacy programs including the recent Moot Court Board Intra-School Competition 2024.
