MATTHEW MANN is an experienced civil litigator with over seventeen years of practice focused on insurance defense litigation. His private practice has concentrated on a broad range of complex matters, including property and casualty claims, automobile liability, uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/UIM)
claims, bad faith litigation, insurance coverage disputes, defamation, premises liability, personal injury, and wrongful death. He has also handled cases involving farming and agricultural operations, hurricane and catastrophic loss claims, construction defects, trucking and transportation accidents, and other complex liability matters. Mr. Mann has tried dozens of bench and jury trials in state courts throughout Louisiana as well as in federal courts, providing him with a deep, practical understanding of case valuation, risk assessment, and trial dynamics.

In addition to his litigation experience, he has successfully mediated hundreds of cases as a participant, giving him firsthand insight into the negotiation strategies and decision-making processes that drive meaningful resolution. His mediation practice is informed by extensive formal training, including instruction alongside well-respected peers at maps and successful completion of the Harvard Mediation Intensive at the Program on Negotiation at Harvard Law School.

Drawing on his trial background and negotiation training, Mr. Mann is known for his preparation, balanced perspective, and ability to facilitate candid, solution-oriented discussions that help parties reach durable resolutions.
