Jay Ginsberg with over 40 years of experience, Jay Ginsberg has focused primarily on labor and employment litigation representing employers, employee and unions in both the public and private sector.   Currently, Jay also acts as an administrative hearing officer for several governmental entities rendering judgments and mediating disputes. Jay has effectively advocated for a variety of  clients ranging from private and public entities to individuals, and has litigated hundreds of civil cases involving  diverse and complex issues including class actions. For over 25 years, he has presided as a Hearing Examiner for the  City of New Orleans Civil Service Commission where he hears disciplinary appeals of city employees. Jay’s extensive  experience as a neutral arbiter of the facts has been invaluable when assisting litigants in the resolution of their  disputes in mediation where he has enjoyed great success because he instinctively sees and understands both sides of  the argument. Through his private practice, Jay brings decades of experience to mediation of claims related to civil  rights, class action/complex litigation, commercial/business, construction, employment/labor law/FLSA, municipal  law, personal injury, property damage, and workers’ compensation.
