Winston G. DeCuir, Sr. is the founding partner of the law firm DeCuir, Clark & Adams, L.L.P. located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. He practices in the areas of education, government, commercial, tort and tort litigation. He also practices in the areas of estates and public finance transactions. Mr. DeCuir began his legal career as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Louisiana and rose to the level of Chief of the Louisiana Department of Justice's Civil Division. He received his B.A. Degree in Business Administration from Xavier University and Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University. He is admitted to practice in the United States Supreme Court as well as the State and Federal Courts within the State of Louisiana. Mr. DeCuir is also admitted to the United States Court of Federal Claims and the Court of Appeal for the Federal Circuit. He is an adjunct professor of law at the Louisiana State University Law Center and has served as Judge Pro Tempore of the Baton Rouge City Court. Prior to entering the practice of law Mr. DeCuir was an accountant for the University of Michigan and Xavier University.
