Paul Mayeaux has been involved in civil litigation in state and federal courts for over thirty years. For the first fifteen years, he practiced insurance defense litigation. More recently, his primary practice has been personal injury litigation. Having worked on both the plaintiff and defense side has given Paul valuable insight into what each side deems important in reaching an objectively fair resolution of their civil case. After mediating hundreds of cases as a litigant, Paul attended and completed MAPS mediator training program and is looking forward to his role as a mediator. Over the course of his career, Paul has handled a variety of litigation matters including automobile and trucking, maritime, commercial disputes, real estate, workers’ compensation, class actions, insurance coverage, anti trust, sexual abuse, medical malpractice, legal malpractice, construction and surety law. Paul is a past member of Louisiana Association of Defense Counsel and present member of Louisiana Trial Lawyers Association.
